Cool and cloudy conditions at Lidcombe Oval where the Pirates Colts took on the Wollongong Mustangs Colts. At half-time the Pirates lead 14-0. A good outing for the Pirates Colts at Lidcombe Oval where they have beaten the Wollongong Mustangs Colts by 22-6.
The Pirates took on the Wollongong Mustangs in Week 6 of the Division 1 season. After an early score by the Mustangs the Pirates hit back to lead 7-6 at the end of the 1st Quarter. A defensive arm-wrestle for much of the 2nd Quarter but two quick scores saw the Pirates leading the Mustangs 20-6 at halftime. It’s been score for score in the 3rd Quarter but the Pirates retained the lead by 27-12. A really scrappy football game but another “W” for the Pirates. Pirates 33 – Wollongong Mustangs 20.
